Keith Taylor graduated from Howard University with a Bachelor of Science degree, City College of New York with a Master of Arts degree and Columbia University with a doctoral degree. Doctor Taylor has worked fifteen years for a New York City area law enforcement agency as a decorated police officer, undercover narcotics investigator, internal investigations supervisor, detective supervisor, and policy analyst. He is an Armament Systems and Procedures Instructor, and has been certified as an Electronic Evidence Collection Specialist by the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists. He received training from the New York Police Department in Specialized Protective Security, Undercover Narcotics Investigations, and Internal Investigations. He has also received additional training in Internal Investigations from the New York State Police Department, Advanced Narcotics Training from the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Regional Training Center, certification in Emergency Incident Management from both the New York State Emergency Management Office and the Federal Emergency Management Agency Emergency Management Institute, and Antiterrorism Training from the Department of Homeland Security. Among Keith’s affiliations are the American Society of Industrial Security, Associated Licensed Detectives of New York State, High Technology Crime Investigation Association, International Association of Law Enforcement Planners, International Association of Chiefs of Police, Fraternal Order of Police, and the International Association of Professional Security Consultants.
